Lovely “RARE FORM” Victorian Eastlake “Step-Back Settee”. Designed for the Victorian ladies to sit on and drape their beautiful floor length dresses across the width of the seat for an elegant look. It is made of solid cherry wood and has a great hand carved “tableau” of a crane in the rushes on the settee back. In addition to the crane carving it also has a crain head motif on the end of the arm. This settee has been newly upholstred in a nice burgundy/red moire taffeta upholstery and is ready to use in your home. Circa 1890’s Please see the CLOSE-UP Shot of this item #327. Have a question?
